Is there an age requirement for breast augmentation?

How are breast implants inserted?
An incision is required in order to place breast implants for breast augmentation. The incision can be done through four methods that result in minimal scarring:
- Periareolar (nipple-areola)
- Inframammary (lower breast crease)
- Axillary (underarm)
- Transumbilical (navel)
Your surgeon will discuss the merits of these different techniques and would make a recommendation based on your individual needs.

Will my post-operative care involve staying in a hospital?
